Just because I’m an adult doesn’t mean I don’t have a Holiday Wish List…because I do. Unlike many women, though, mine doesn’t really consist of shoes, jewelry or purses. I know. I know. I’m not a normal girl…and that’s just fine with me. I don’t like being like others. I like to be me.

Here are some of the items on my wish list.

1- To have all of our children wake up together on Christmas morning.

2- KitchenAid mixer

3- A new cutlery set – The knives we have are so dull. And since I cook so much, a new set would come in handy.

4- A NuWave oven – I’ve wanted one of these for years and actually saw a friend posting about hers on Facebook. I think they’re incredibly neat.

5- A bigger dehydrator – I have one that my dad gave me but it’s extremely old and the trays are not the easiest things to clean. Also, I can’t make a lot of  jerky at one time, so it disappears as fast as it dries.

6- A jerky gun – I had one that my dad gave me but when I moved the pieces got separated, and I can’t find them all. BOO!

7- Candles – I’m a candle fiend and I love having a bunch in the house to burn.

8- New pajama pants – This is the only clothing item you will find on this list. A couple of the ones I have are holey and old and a bit threadbare.

9- The new Stephen King book

10 – Luke Bryan concert tickets

11- A romantic weekend away with my boyfriend – In the time we’ve been together, we haven’t gone away once. And I want to. I want the two of us to go stay somewhere, away from everything going on in our lives and enjoy each other’s company. I know it won’t happen because his job requires him to work every weekend, so time away can only happen in my mind…but that doesn’t stop it from being on my wish list. Who knows! Maybe one day we will be able to.
