I’m a huge coffee drinker. And I mean HUGE! I suffer from insomnia so I drink a lot during the day to stay awake so I can maintain some level of productivity throughout the day. There are days, though, when I get heartburn or a indigestion from drinking too much of it, so when I heard about Tyler’s Coffee’s Acid Free Coffee, I was excited to try it out.
When I brewed the coffee I wasn’t overly thrilled by the smell. That’s nothing against the their coffee. I’m just used to the smell of Green Mountain or Starbucks since those are the brands I primarily drink.
Once the pot was done brewing, I poured some in my coffee mug and added some fat free half ‘n half and two scoops of sugar and took a sip. I’m normally a girl who drinks flavored coffee or coffee with flavored creamer. I had no flavored creamer on hand, unfortunately, so I made do with what I had.
The taste of the coffee wasn’t horrible. I’ve had way worse. It’s not going to be a favorite of mine, although, I think I would have liked it more had I had flavored creamer on hand. That being said, I would drink it again if heartburn began a persistent problem for me. And I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone who does suffer from the aforementioned problems. The Acid Free Coffee is the perfect solution for those who need the caffeine but don’t want to deal with the unpleasant side effects.
Aside from being acid-free, the company also claims that their Acid Free Coffee minimizes tooth enamel damage, acid reflux, indigestion, bloating and heartburn. And it’s non-irrirating to the stomach.
Tyler’s Coffee is made from handpicked Grade AAA Arabica beans flown in from South America to Tyler Coffee’s headquarters in Arizona.
