When I was a kid, I was never much of a sweets hound. If you gave me a bag of potato chips and onion dip, I was good to go. But as I’ve gotten older I have developed a mild sweet tooth. I don’t always want something sweet to munch on, but when I do, I WANT IT RIGHT NOW!
Orange Glad, a subscription box club that allows you to order dessert online and have it delivered directly to your door every month. Each month features five treats for you to taste out. And every month is different. This is perfect for someone like moi.
There are two different dessert subscription boxes to choose from. The single is $13.00 per month (plus shipping & handling), and the double is $25.00 per month (plus shipping & handling). To subscribe and check out contents from other months, please visit their website.
I have to say, I think the prices of the boxes are reasonable. In addition, this is a great way to experience desserts you may not have tried on your own.

I sampled each one of the desserts above with my stepdaughter. She got a huge kick out of trying everything. Her and I were both very pleasantly surprised with how chocolatey, moist and delicious the Gluten-Free Brownie was. Gluten-free foods can sometimes be hit or miss, but this particular brownie was definitely a hit. I’d eat them again.
Our favorite treat from the box was the Italian Butterhorns. They were so delicate and flavorful. They weren’t too sweet, and would have tasted great with a cup of coffee.
My stepdaughter also enjoyed the S’more Cookie. What child wouldn’t? S’mores in a cookie? YES PLEASE!
The Peanut Butter Cup Cookie was sinfully delicious too. I could eat one right now.
I also loved the Orange Cranberry Welsh Cakes. My stepdaughter wasn’t too big on the cranberries in it but the cake itself she liked.
Overall, the box got two thumbs up from both of us. (We can’t wait to try next month’s box!)
