St. Patrick’s Day Now Has Another Color Besides Green

Blake

On Friday my seven-year-old son was getting dressed for school when the conversation below took place, and it of course made me crack up and thank the powers that be for sending him to me. This convo is another shining example of how my son’s brain works.

Blake: Today is a weird day. I’m supposed to wear green.
Me: For St. Patrick’s Day?
Blake: Yeah. (Five mins. later Blake walks back in my room wearing a brown shirt.)
Me: Why are you wearing brown? You’re supposed to wear green.
Blake: Because leprechauns live under trees.

That’s right. Brown is now an official color of St. Patrick’s Day, and it’s all because leprechauns live under trees.

Well, you all know the story that a leprechaun lives at the end of a rainbow and the last color in the rainbow is Violet so you can also wear magenta or violet ( you can wear magenta because it is almost the same shade as violet)! You can still wear green but if you are a girl you can wear a violet/magenta bow barette. I hope this comment gave you a idea that violet can also be worn. Ok bye!!
