With the arrival of spring, many families like my own are looking for a good deal on tires since spring and summer are all about roadtrips and good times. I know we have some fun family outings planned over the new several months, including a trip out of state that is still hush hush.
Now through April 15th, Cooper Tires is running a “Spring Savings Event” to help put some much-needed moola back in your pocket, and safe tires on your vehicle.
If you purchase a set of qualifying tires from a participating Cooper Tire dealer (located in the U.S., the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico), you could get up to an $80 Visa® prepaid gift card.
The amount you receive depends on the type of tires purchased. To find out more about Cooper Tire Rebates, please visit their rebate website. While there, you can print out a mail-in rebate form. (You can also find out more information on qualifying products.)
After you purchase a qualifying product make sure to stop by Cooper Tire on Facebook and share some of your fondest travel memories.
You can even share those special moments on Twitter or Instagram by using hashtag #RollWithCooper. Those who share their stories will be entered to win a $1,000 prize pack from Cooper Tire, which consists of a gas card and Cooper merchandise.
So what are my most treasured memories? Well, I’ll tell you.
Growing up, my family didn’t have a lot of money. My parents lived paycheck to paycheck and weren’t able to give us everything they wanted to. Because we didn’t have a lot of extra money, we weren’t able to go to as many cool places as others, but that didn’t stop my parents from creating special memories with my brother and I that will last a lifetime.
Many of my fondest memories from our childhood include joyriding in my parents’ car, and stopping for jerky from our local country store. To some, days spent that way may sound boring, but to me and my brother, they meant the world. And it’s because of those kinds of simple moments that taught me to appreciate the simpler things in life.
It’s those kinds of moments that I’m trying to teach my children about. And I truly hope they do the same for their future children.
So tell me, what would you do if you won the prize pack? What kind of fun things would you do?
