Potty Talk With the Six-Year-Old

I have shared with all of you several times about the things my son says that either crack me up or leave me scratching my head and asking, “What the hell?” Seriously, that boy has no filter. If it’s on his mind, it’s out his mouth, no matter where we are.

Here’s another one of our conversations. Fortunately, this time we were at home when he felt the need to educate his Momma. Unfortunately, though, he was in the bathroom going #2, so you can imagine what this convo was about.

toilet paper

Blake: *hollers* “Mom?”
Me: “What buddy?”
Blake: “Do you know that sometimes toilet paper gets stuck in the crack of my butt when I wipe?”

I could not reply to him because I was sitting on the couch, laughing. Kids have no boundaries and will talk about ANYTHING…no matter how disgusting it is. And while this was mild in comparison to other things he and his sister have said, it still struck me as hilarious.

So what do you think, should I tell him that this happens to all of us at one time or another?
