I just moved to New Hampshire last spring, so there are many events that happen throughout the state that I’m not familiar with. Now that I’m learning about them, I am excited to experience all that this state has to offer. The event below is one that instantly made me excited when I read about it because, as a child, my family would take a ride every winter and check out the many different Christmas light displays. Those are memories I will treasure forever. And now I can’t wait to go to the Gift of Lights with our entire family.
And if you’re like our family and want cheap but fun family events to go to, Gift of Lights is a good choice. It definitely won’t break the piggy bank.
Spanning over two miles, the Gift of Lights is one of the largest displays of holiday lights in New England. It includes several themed displays, such as the 12 Days of Christmas, a jungle scene and a Nativity depiction. The course winds around the outside of the track’s grandstands and includes a portion of the NHMS Road Course.
