Halloween is just around the corner but you still have plenty of time to check out the haunted houses, hayrides and haunted walks throughout Maine. Last year, my husband, now ex, took my daughter to Scarborough Downs for their haunted hayride. She loved it. We had contemplated taking her to Destination Haunt here in Lebanon where we live but we decided it may be a bit much for our daughter based on reports we’d heard from others who had taken their kids.
