With Christmas right around the corner AND football season in full swing, my husband is on the prowl for a brand spanking new TV for our bedroom, you know so he can chill and watch TV from the comfort of his own bed. However, the TV we have is ancient by today’s standards and DOES NOT have the crisp picture quality that he wants. (He honestly wants to think a certain football team is playing a game in our bedroom.)
The new LG OLED TV at Best Buy, is EXACTLY what he’s looking for…and drooling over. Seriously, when we walk into Best Buy, he heads right over to the TVs and stands in front of them, eyes open wide, with a look of yearning on his face. I know that look all too well. It’s the “I want” look. It’s actually cute, but don’t tell him I said that.
And I can certainly understand why he wants that particular TV. The picture quality is amazing and brings a whole new life to television shows, games and movies. It’s almost like you’re a part of what you’re watching. The colors are vibrant, with the whites as white as they can possibly get and the blacks as dark as they can be.
Plus, aside from the top notch picture quality, it’s ultra thin, clocking in at 0.21″ at it’s thickest point. That’s PERFECT for our room since we have limited space and a lot of furniture. We need something that won’t take up a lot of space, unlike the hulking TV in our living room.
