If you haven’t thought about stocking up on items you use a lot of, I highly suggest you consider it because you never know when money will become tight and you’ll left be wondering, “How am I going to feed my family?” By building up a stockpile of items you use a lot of, you’ll have a safety net when hard times hit. And they usually happen when you least expect it.
Stockpiling is something I’ve been practicing for years. The knowledge that I have today was taught to me by my mom and dad who struggled through most of my childhood years to make ends meet. I remember all too well how stressful life can get when you lose a job, and I sincerely hope none of you have to experience it if you haven’t already.
If you would like some additional stockpiling tips, please feel free to email me at [email protected] or you can send me a message via my Contact Me page.
Now I’d like to know some of your meal ideas based on the items that are included in the Shaw’s Supermarket Stock Up Sale. Please leave a comment below and share with us.

The spaghetti with meatballs sounds pretty good! Thanks for the post! I was wondering what was going to be good with this sale.
There are some really great deals featured. Some others to watch out for include Purex Laundry Detergent for $2.50 when you buy 10. (This is one I’m going to jump on. If I buy 10, it’ll last us for quite some time.) Also, there’s Tostino Pizza Rolls with $1.38 for 40. Other items included are Hines Frosting, Brawny Paper Towels, Toaster Strudels and more. Guess what I’m doing tomorrow? LOL!
Thanks for the post! My mother in law just brought me a bunch of stuff from Shaws that she got for really cheap! I now have 4 dozen eggs in my refrigerator hehe

They had a great sale on eggs last week and we missed it by ONE DAY! $.88 for a dozen. I can’t get it that cheap at Walmart or Market Basket. I was not a happy girl. LOL!
