Shaw's Supermarket Stock Up Sale

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Shaw’s Supermarket Stock Up Sale, which includes some great deals on products we all use. If you’re considering stocking up like I am, and are also looking for some meal ideas based on the Stock Up Sale items, as well as other items listed in the flyer this week, look no further. I have put together a list of four ideas for you to consider based on the sale items this week.

I’ve also included a breakdown of the sale items for each meal along with the cost for each item. I hope these meal ideas are useful to you.

1- Spaghetti w/meatballs, topped with shredded cheese and biscuits

Francesco Rinaldi Spaghetti Sauce – 10 for $10

Cooked Perfect Meatballs – B1G1

Prince Spaghetti – $1.25 per box, but if you buy 10, they are $.75 each.

Pillsbury Biscuits – $.88

Essential Everyday Shredded Cheese – 2/$5

2- Tuna Helper with Frozen Veggies

McCain Original or Premium French Fries – 2/$5

If you haven’t thought about stocking up on items you use a lot of, I highly suggest you consider it because you never know when money will become tight and you’ll left be wondering, “How am I going to feed my family?” By building up a stockpile of items you use a lot of, you’ll have a safety net when hard times hit. And they usually happen when you least expect it.

Stockpiling is something I’ve been practicing for years. The knowledge that I have today was taught to me by my mom and dad who struggled through most of my childhood years to make ends meet. I remember all too well how stressful life can get when you lose a job, and I sincerely hope none of you have to experience it if you haven’t already.

If you would like some additional stockpiling tips, please feel free to email me at or you can send me a message via my Contact Me page.

Now I’d like to know some of your meal ideas based on the items that are included in the Shaw’s Supermarket Stock Up Sale. Please leave a comment below and share with us.

The spaghetti with meatballs sounds pretty good! Thanks for the post! I was wondering what was going to be good with this sale.

There are some really great deals featured. Some others to watch out for include Purex Laundry Detergent for $2.50 when you buy 10. (This is one I’m going to jump on. If I buy 10, it’ll last us for quite some time.) Also, there’s Tostino Pizza Rolls with $1.38 for 40. Other items included are Hines Frosting, Brawny Paper Towels, Toaster Strudels and more. Guess what I’m doing tomorrow? LOL!

They had a great sale on eggs last week and we missed it by ONE DAY! $.88 for a dozen. I can’t get it that cheap at Walmart or Market Basket. I was not a happy girl. LOL!
