Recently I was given the chance to review some fantasy posters from FantasyColoringPosters.com. I was sent five different posters to review. (Photos below.) I have always been a fan of anything to do with sci-fi or fantasy. Call it the nerd in me. Because of my interest, I was very eager to receive the posters and see if they lived up to my expectations of what I hoped they’d look like. I was not disappointed.
I was also excited for this review because it offered me an opportunity to spend time with the kids while allowing them to help with my job. Plus, I admit that some of my fondest memories from my childhood involve coloring. I remember a GIANT coloring book I got for Christmas one year that had well over 1,000 pages. I colored in that book for a VERY long time, even after the cover fell off. Maybe I’m a bit of a nerd, and filled with nostalgia, but getting to do a review like this allowed me to relive some of my childhood. And we all can use little moments like that every once in awhile.
As for the posters themselves, the amount of detail in the posters is incredible. And as you color them in, the tiniest of details become more prominent. Because the posters are so detailed, it”s a bit of a time consuming process, at least for the girls and me, because we want things precise. We definitely had a great time working on these posters and if you’re like me, and looking for something to do with your children, this is an option. Take note, though, that some photos aren’t appropriate for younger children, so if you order separate sheets, make sure you take note of the content of each poster.
Without further ado, here are the posters I received alongside photos of them partially colored in. They are works in progress.
