This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I know I say in many of my blog posts that I’m a frugal shopper. I say that because it’s true. I don’t like spending a lot of money.
And right now, we don’t have an abundance of it, especially now that we have insurance premiums, copays and deductibles to meet. (Don’t even get me started on how much we are spending now. It’s disheartening.)
Now, more than ever, we have to be extra savvy when it comes to spending money. We have to take into consideration that not only do we have more money going out each year, we also have slow periods at both of our jobs that means money isn’t as free-flowing during those times. We have to prepare ahead of time.
One way that we are preparing is by stocking up on household and wellness supplies that we use a lot of. I’ve talked about stockpiling before and how it can help during the slow months. It certainly helps us.
In order to stockpile without breaking the bank, we shop for less expensive products that work just as well as, if not better, than the leading brands. This way I’m giving myself the peace of mind we need without worrying about draining our banking account.
One place that I LOVE to shop is Dollar General. Before I moved to my current location, we didn’t have one near us. But now we have two!
There brands of products are great because they offer the some quality I’m used to at a fraction of the price. For example, I’ve found that the DG Home Disinfectant Wipes clean our counters wonderfully. I am able to clean up spills, crumbs and bacteria and leave my counters clean and shining.
And I don’t cringe when I use them because I know they aren’t as expensive as other brands out there.
Also, as you can see, the laundry paks look EXACTLY the same as ones from leading brands. They work just as well too!! They have a pleasant scent that isn’t overempowering.
