When I was a little girl, my grandmother gave me, my brother and my cousins burlap Christmas sacks with our names on them in place of stockings. We used those sacks for years, even after my grandparents moved. My parents would individually wrap every stocking item and put them in the bag.
Since I loved my burlap sack so much, I wanted to recreate them for all four kids: my kids and my boyfriend’s.
I couldn’t find stencils to paint designs on the bags, so I went with felt Christmas pieces.
To make sure they wouldn’t fall off the sacks, I ironed each one for five seconds as recommended on the packages of felt pieces.
After I was done ironing, I used 3D paint to write the kids’ names on them.
The sacks I got through Amazon and the felt pieces at Joann Fabrics.
