One of the things that our family loves to do is dine out together. It’s a time for all of us to come together without electronics or schedules getting in the way, and enjoy each other’s company. With my boyfriend’s children’s activity schedule, as well as my own children’s, it’s extremely hard for us to find time for all of us to be together as a family. When an opportunity for us to connect arises, we take it. It’s those little moments that the children will remember for years to come.
However, we still have to be careful about where we we eat out. We are a family of six living on a fixed income. When you take six people to a restaurant, all who have hearty appetites, it can get extremely pricey. So what is a family like ours to do when money is not as abundant as our appetites are?
Enter Restaurant.com, a site that connects restaurants with their patrons. Customers can go online and search the Restaurant.com website for family-friendly restaurants in their area and then purchase gift cards at a discounted rate, making eating out with your family more affordable than ever before. They also provide tips on dining out with children. Some parents find eating out to be an overwhelming experience, but it doesn’t have to be.
Recently Restaurant.com conducted a survey and they found that 59% of parents love to dine out with their kids at least once a week if not more. They also found that 70% of parents say that it’s a great way to spend time together as a family.
They also compiled a list of the Top 25 Family Friendly Restaurants across the United States. Have you tried any of them?

it’d be cool to swing by vegas and go to the restaurant at the top of the stratosphere. i saw a deal on restaurant.com for that
That would be really neat. My boyfriend and I have talked about it before. It’s definitely on our list if we ever make it there.
Maybe TGI Fridays!
TGIFriday’s is always a great bet. I love their Jack Daniel’s chicken. I don’t know if they still have it but when I used to go, that was what I always got.
