This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Did you have a family photo taken this holiday season? We didn’t…but we wanted to. However, we didn’t have the time. It’s hard to fit in activities when we actually have so little time together. And it was more important for us to get our Christmas tree together, as well as decorate it, than the photo. But if we could have fit it in, we would have.
When I saw that I could create a unique family photo on the LEGO website via their minifigure area, I couldn’t wait to try it. We are a LEGO family, as I’ve mentioned before in previous posts, so anything LEGO-related is right up our alley. (And when I say LEGO family, I mean it. Between the two boys, we have about six containers filled with LEGOs, including one huge one that has wheels on it.)
Needless to say, when I got the chance to make us all into a LEGO Minifigure Family, I jumped at it. The photo sounded cute and fun. I was able to customize each minifigure to match our personalities. And I’m sure once the boys see the photo, they’ll laugh and want to try making one themselves.
If you want to create your own LEGO minifigure family, I highly recommend that you do. It’s free, easy and only takes minutes.
To create your family photo, follow the simple steps below.
1- Visit the site and click on on Get Started.
2- Add your family members. You can add up to 13 family members, including cats and dogs.
3- Customize your family members. Adults have more customization options. You can choose your figure’s skintone, facial expressions, hair and hats, shirts and pants. (There aren’t as many facial expressions and clothing options for children.)
4- Click on Set the Scene. From there you can rearrange your family members and choose a background for your photo. There are two different winter/holiday options to choose from, as well as other backgrounds, including a house, the woods, the beach, an office, etc.
5- Download your photo to your computer. Before you do, though, you can decide if you want your family’s names to show on the photo. I chose to hide the names because I do not mention the names of my boyfriend’s children on here, as many of you are aware.
Now what are you waiting for? Go LEGO out your family.
Oh! I could kiss you! lol. I wish I would have seen this sooner. I don’t know why your feed isn’t coming through to me. We are connected on Bloglovin now so that should help.
We <3 our Lego so many.
I had a disaster with the family Christmas photo and putting up the decorations in general. 90% of them went back in the basement. It's a crazy month and we hardly have any time with kiddo so I just made up my cards last night with no photo. 🙁
This looks like fun. I'll whip one up and just be non traditional and Facebook tag everyone. LOL. Or, is that the new tradition?

I think the reason this didn’t show up is because it was a SocialSpark post and was published for me through their system. So I wasn’t awake when it went live. Thanks for following me on Bloglovin and I will return the favor. You make some absolutely amazing looking dishes.
I’m so glad you liked this LEGO minifigure idea. It’s adorable and unique. And this being the digital age, it gives people a different way of sharing their family with others.
