One of the choices all brides-to-be have to make before the big day arrives is what kind of bouquet they want. With all the options out there, it’s not an easy decision to make. Real bouquets. Fake bouquets. Colors. Style.
Originally I wanted a beautiful, fragrant REAL one. And I know I’m not alone in having wanted that. I think a vast majority of brides do. But after looking at prices online at local floral shops, I had a hard time accepting the fact that I would pay $200 on a bouquet that would rot on me.
Sure, I could have shelled out more money to have it preserved, or I could have attempted to preserve it myself (and potentially screw it up), but again that would have cost a lot more money than what we had available to spend.
I decided that going the real route wasn’t the best choice for me. I then turned to Etsy to see if I could find someone to make me a fake one that I loved the look of.
And I did through TheGlitterBox LC.
The moment I laid eyes on the bouquet, I fell in love, but I wasn’t sure if I should spent almost $100 on it. My husband saw the look on my face and told me that no matter what, I was getting that bouquet. Well, as long as I could have it custom made in the colors I needed.
Well, Laurie of TheGlitterBox LC definitely came through and made me a gorgeous bouquet in the colors I wanted.
Before sending me the final product, she sent me photos of the bouquet to see if I wanted any changes made. I didn’t. It was gorgeous and perfect. The perfect compliment to my wedding dress.
And when it came in the mail, it was even more beautiful in person.
The wedding may be almost two months behind us, but my gorgeous bouquet sits on the shelf in my office where I’m able to stare at it every day. And every time I do I’m taken back to that magical moment in time when I married my best friend and soulmate.
If you’re like me and can’t justify the cost of a real bouquet, I highly suggest checking at Laurie’s page. She has a bunch of different types of bouquets to choose from and she will work with you on creating a custom bouquet.
