Going into this past year of school, my husband and I never thought we’d have two children graduating/ leaving middle school for the halls of the high school.
We thought his daughter, who was in 8th grade, was the only one moving up. But, due to changes within the school district, several changes occurred. One of the changes involved moving the 8th grade to the high school from the middle school. Because they moved the 8th grade, it meant things would be different for the new 8th graders in the 2015/2016 school year.
Since I knew my stepdaughter was graduating months ago, I decided to review the picture frame below in hopes we would get a great picture of her from graduation to put in that she could put on the shelf in her and her sister’s room. I thought it would be a nice memento.
Once the frame arrived in the mail in that I found out my daughter would be moving on too. I didn’t feel it was right that one daughter get a commemorative frame and not the other, so I promptly ordered my daughter one, too.
As for the frame, I don’t have any complaints about it. The wood is a great quality. It’s very sturdy and smells great (from the woodburning). I honestly think this frame or any of the other ones available at GiftsForYouNow.com would make a great gift for a graduate.
Or for someone else on their special day. (My husband got an awesome platter for Father’s Day.)
Though graduations were already held, it’s not too late to order this frame and print out a photo for the graduate in your life.
(As you may notice in the above picture, though, I blacked out the name and school for privacy reasons. I didn’t think of those issues when I ordered the frames. It wasn’t until I began crafting this post that the lightbulb went on, so I can assure you, that black smudge will NOT be in the frame you order.)

Sidenote: It wasn’t until after school ended that we found out from my stepkids that the high school will supposedly be having a graduation for the 8th graders next year. Had we (the parents) been told this when we questioned the district, I would have held off ordering my daughter one. Now it looks like I need to order a new one next year. Oh well, such is life.
