This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Purina at Dollar General for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
Almost two months ago we lost our pug, Mya, very unexpectedly. It not only broke our family’s heart, but it also broke our minpin, Zoe’s, heart, too.
Mya was her sister, and even though she wasn’t the most active dog, she was company for Zoe. And losing her meant Zoe lost a part of her heart.
In addition, Zoe also lost her appetite. We tried and tried to get her to eat food, but she didn’t want to. Finally we gave her some Alpo Meal Helpers mixed in with her dog food in hopes it would entice her to eat. It did. She picked through her food and only ate the Meal Helpers. It was actually quite funny.
You can tell she loves the taste of the Alpo Meal Helpers. Every time she eats it, she ends up licking her chops for at least ten minutes afterwards.
What I love about Alpo Meal Helpers is that it’s a mess-free addition to Zoe’s meals, unlike wet food which smells horrible and can be quite messy.
Alpo Meal Helpers are also convenient because you can take them with you on road trips and not half to worry about refrigerating it like you do if you don’t use an entire can/container of wet food.
