Back in May 2007, just seven months after the birth of my son, Boogie Wipes hit the market…and I had to try them. I became an instant fan. I can’t count how many times I used them on my son during his first two years of life. We always had a package in his diaper bag in case he wound up needing them. And boy did they work like a charm!
Because I am such a fan of Boogie Wipes, you can imagine how excited I was when I found out their makers, Little Busy Bodies, LLC, had partnered up with Proctor & Gamble, the company behind popular items we’ve all used, including Pampers, Tide, Always, Bounty, Gain and many more, to produce a line of saline nose wipes geared towards adults under the Puffs label called Puffs Fresh Faces.
Puffs Fresh Faces can be used to remove makeup, to clean your face and give it a fresh feeling. And after the hot days we’ve had this summer, a wipe to clean the face and make you feel revived is exactly what’s needed.
When the package from P&G arrived I was very excited to find a white box tied with a bright blue ribbon. Inside was a bunch of different items featuring the Puffs Fresh Faces logo, as well as samples of the Puff’s Fresh Faces products, both full-size packages and sample size ones.
I tried the wipes the day they arrived. The unscented ones are just that…unscented. And the lavender ones have a very pleasant scent that’s not overwhelming or sickening like so many lavender-scented products are. They also carry a Fresh Scent, which smells just like Boogie Wipes.
If you have a runny nose, the Puffs Fresh Faces with Vicks are just what you need. While I have not tried these ones yet, I did open the package to smell them. I can see why they would help with a runny nose, and I will use them as soon as I develop a cold.
And the best part is, I won’t have to worry about my nose drying out the edges because I used too many tissues, which tends to be a common problem for me. I usually end up with a red, sore nose that lasts for days. (And it’s really NOT the most attractive look for me.)
Also, I usually use other makeup wipes to remove my makeup at the end of the day, and I have to say, these are the best I’ve used. After you’re done removing your makeup, your skin truly does feel clean and not like there’s a strange film on it. And since I have sensitive skin, I do have to be careful about the products I use. I will DEFINITELY continue to use Puffs Fresh Faces for my skincare needs. They are definitely worth the buy.
