I’m always emptying glass jars left and right around here. While I recycle some, I usually store panko breadcrumbs or dehydrated onions in others, or even use them as drinking glasses. Yesterday I got to thinking about what else I could use them for. So I went on a search for some ideas. Here they are. Some of them are really cute and I think would look adorable in my house.
This is a really neat idea. I have a spot right above my kitchen table where this would look perfect. I’ve been wanting to replace my current lighting fixture with something that has more flare, and this glass jar idea would work wonderfully. And I’m sure with a little savvy, you could make your own version for a fraction of the price Pottery Barn charges.

This idea works well for any holiday, just change the ribbon and candle color, if you would like, and you’re good to go. I imagine these sitting in the middle of my counter surrounding by the many appetizers I make on Christmas Eve.

I’ve always used old glass jars as vases, but I never thought of actually decorating them to make them more aesthetically pleasing. This would actually be a great gift idea if you’re tight on money. You could decorate them to match any decor.

I have a soft spot for old black and white photos so this idea really got to me. If I had a nice old looking shelf, I’d totally do this.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t keep the cupboard beneath my sink organized for crap. This idea would definitely offer a solution. And it would look really good on the wall to the side of my sink. Hm, definitely something for me to think abuout.
