For the past two and a half years, my husband and I have lived together as a blended family with our four children. We each brought two children into our relationship, which meant we had to adjust to life with four very different and distinct personalities.
My son is the baby of our four kids, and in many ways, our biggest handful. He’s a livewire that keeps me on my toes on a daily basis. There’s never a dull moment when he is around.
He and his buddy A were full of it yesterday. They had a blast modeling their brand new duds. Because A is full of sass and personality, she brought it out in my son, which resulted in some of the cutest photos I have ever taken. These two hammed it up for the camera, showing off how they’ll be kicking off their new school year in style.
For this series of posts, I was asked to purchase clothes from K-mart’s back-to-school clothing collections to create two unique outfits that are stylish but inexpensive. And I had no problem doing that. Kmart is currently running an awesome sale on adorable back-to-school clothes. My son tried on a several shirts and pants combinations before we settled on the clothing below.
I also spent beyond the $125 gift card and bought the other three kids some clothes too. I couldn’t pass up the deals and styles. Kmart carries clothing for each one of those unique personalities I mentioned above. It’s a good thing I don’t have a store in the same town as me or I would be there at least once a week.
For a shirt, I purchased a Route 66 Boy’s Button Front Shirt & T-shirt (American Legend). (Regular price: $18.99 but is on sale right now for $12.00)
His pants are Route 66 Boy’s Twill Pants in gray. (Regular price: $17.99 but are on sale right now for $13.49.)
His rockin’ new sneakers are Razor™ Boy’s Blue/Black Light Up Athletic Shoes. (Regular price: $24.99 but Kmart is currently running a BOGO sale where if you buy one pair of shoes at regular price, you get the second pair for $5, which is what I did. I bought a second pair of shoes for tomorrow’s outfit.)
As for his cool new shades, those are Dickie’s Sunglasses. (Regular price: $12.99)
He also got some Fruit of the Loom Boy’s Boxer Briefs. (Regular price: $9.99)
The entire outfit looks like this:
What do you think? Will his new school year start off well?
