Yesterday the fiance and I spent the day running errands for our wedding. We still have three months until the wedding, but we don’t want to wait until the last minute to get stuff done. If we do that, I will end up super stressed, which wouldn’t be good for any of us. One of the places we stopped at was Rue21. We have an outlet store right near...

I love clothes! I love having items to wear that make me feel pretty without looking slutty. Unfortunately for me, that line is easily crossed because I have a huge chest and not because of my own choosing. I can blame genetics for what I’ve been blessed with. Before kids, I had a big chest. After kids, even bigger. That means I do have to watch a lot of what I wear. Button up shirts have a tendency to gape around my chest because of their size.  Many times if I go the next size up in a shirt I like to make sure it fits my...

I love this time of year for many reasons: pumpkin coffee, the changing leaves, hot apple cider, etc. One of my biggest reasons I love this time of year is because I can finally break out my sweaters, which I love so much. They make me all warm and cozy. My favorite that I own is the one below. View with matching belt. (These were taken with my webcam, so forgive the grainyness and angles. I need a cameraman.) ...

The other day Amber (Thrifty Ninja) and I were discussing weekly post ideas that we both could take part in. She came up with the brilliant idea that we should attempt different projects we see on Pinterest. We both love that site and are on there several times a day. We know most of what we try will be fails because lets face it, most of us try projects that don’t come out looking like the original idea. This week I chose to make a homemade fringe scarf. The steps are below, as well as the finished result.   Step 1:...

I know there are people out there who are opposed to shopping at places like Goodwill. There are some that view it as trashy, but lets face it, most of us are pinched for money. We can’t afford expensive clothing brands. Places like Goodwill sell clothing that is still in good condition for a fraction of the price you would pay for it at the actual store it came from. For example, I LOVE Justice clothing. They have some of the cutest outfits and I could spent a mint shopping there for my daughter, but it’s too expensive....

Last night I bought three new shirts from Walmart for this fall. I was in desperate need, to say the least. I don’t have many nice shirts to begin with. Most have shrunk or are stained. I found three last night that I absolutely loved and since they weren’t expensive, I bought them. And the best part is, at least according to my mom, my boobs are completely covered when I wear them. Unfortunately for me, I am a busty girl. I always have been so I do have to be careful when dressing myself. I think I did well this time,...
