This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine. As a mom, I know how important it is to make sure you infant gets all the nutrients it needs to start life off on the right foot. Some of us make the choice to breastfeed, while others of us turn to formula to feed our little ones. And all of us have one thing in common….to...

And now here we are, already four days into the another new year. A year that we are looking forward to because we have some wonderful activities...

While this post was cathartic when I wrote it yesterday, I feel like it has a different purpose now. I feel it needs to be more about what we learned because of what we’ve dealt with. Yesterday this post...

While some may think that I favor the use of makeup on children, I, for the most part, do not. When I see children with makeup caked on their faces, whether it be for a pageant, a dance recital/comp, cheerleading comp, etc., I cringe. I’ve also seen pictures of young children at pageants with so much makeup on (think Jon Benet Ramsey) that they looked far older than they actually are. There are too many perverts in this world that prey on young children, and I think the use of heavy makeup on a child only feeds their sick...

I’ve talked about my son and his behavioral issues on this site in the past, as well as his struggle with ADHD. We tried a couple of medications in the past that helped him for awhile but then eventually made him depressed and a shadow of his former self. As a mom, it was disheartening to see. He had no idea why he was feeling and acting the way he did, so as his mother, I made the decision to take him off the pills he was on. Just over a month ago I met with his pediatrician to go over some Autism paperwork because numerous...
